Can Shania Twain bring back the Glory Days? Maybe Las Vegas has been Shania’s savior!

2002 saw the last album ‘UP!’ of Shania. Since then the Queen of Country Pop has somewhat stayed away from the limelight. Starting her career two years ago, after a decade long break, it seems Shania is back and ready to rock the town. Las Vegas audiences have been leaving charmed and impressed by Shania. Her two year stint showed that she is still the bestselling female country artist of all time. This stint ends with the completion of her Caesars Palace residency on December 13th.

Shania admits that she lost her voice and confidence when she found out that her husband and producer Robert Mutt Lange was having an affair with her best friend. It took her new marriage to Frederic Thiebaud, the deserted husband of that girlfriend, and support from singers Lionel Richie and Gladys Knight, to allow her to stand up and face the world once again. Shania has had a remarkable journey from poverty and hardship to stardom.

In her interview in the Sun, she stated that she had a wonderful experience in Vegas and is taking back some amazing memories. She talked about the experience in Vegas and that the city had much more to it than just gambling. The Country Pop star also talked about her charity organization ‘Shania Kids Can’, which built schools in Vegas and was now ready to reach Canada as well.

She explained that she did not want these children to face the same hardships which she had gone though as a child. The success she received in Las Vegas has given her the confidence to carry on. Shania made it clear that she was in no mood to step off the stage after Caesars Palace.

Instead the good news for all her fans is that Shania is going to hold concerts and release her new album. Let’s keep our fingers crossed see what this Queen has in store for us! It has been 12 years since she released her last album. Well, we will be wishing this ‘Iron Lady’ and Queen of Country Pop all the very best for her album and career.
