Solar impulse 2 makes emergency stop in Nagoya, Japan due to critical weather conditions.
Solar impulse 2 is the solar powered Swiss plane which has promised to travel the globe without a single drop of fossil fuel. However Solar Impulse 2 was forced to make an unexpected stop in its recent journey due to bad weather conditions.
Solar Impulse 2 was flying from Nanjing, China to Hawaii and it was the longest stretch the plane was going to cover for the first time. Bernard Piccard, the co-pilot currently off the controls, described the emergency landing on Monday as a ‘Strange Moment’ of his life as it was a mix between elation and disappointment.
