Target might not be the first name that you think of when it comes to Black Friday, but there is no reason to think that you might not have great saving opportunities there. They remain a top retailer in the country, even if they aren’t quite the behemoth that Walmart is in terms of Black Friday crowds. If you know what to look for and how to get the best deals, you’ll be prepared to get in on the action.

Updates:
– The first big early Target Black Friday 2014 deal has been released. Buy 2 Get 1 Free Video Game Deal has been launched on Nov. 9.

– The Target Black Friday 2014 Ad is expected on November 11.

Target has become incredibly popular in recent years and they were one of the first retailers to really jump on the Black Friday bandwagon a few years ago when things kicked into high gear. With Walmart and Best Buy, they created a retail holiday unlike any other. Even with just a few short years passing, it has exploded in popularity. Year after year, Target sets new records for themselves as they find new ways to please their shoppers and keep them coming back for more and more deals that they can only find here.

Black Friday At Target

Knowing what to expect from Target on Black Friday is one of the most important things you can do ahead of the big day. They have the same setup as many other retailers, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have an understanding. The combination of official announcements, ad leaks, and the different deals that they have available makes them a great choice if you are looking for incredible, once in a lifetime savings the day after Thanksgiving.

– Target Black Friday Ad Leaks

As with all of the other major retailers on Black Friday, there are plenty of ads that will start leaking ahead of the BLack Friday opening. Target isn’t known for having all of their ads typically leak, but that doesn’t mean you won’t have a few clues if you know where to look.

– Target Black Friday Doorbusters

Target’s door buster deals are some of the ones that customers wait in line for hours anticipating. These are some of the biggest deals that you’ll come across and to get them you’ll have to be in line for a few hours ahead of the doors opening up. Employees will start handing out tickets for these then, allowing you to make sure that you get in on the action when the time arrives.

– Online Deals

Target does things a little differently than Best Buy, for example. Target offers plenty of Black Friday deals online, although it won’t give you the same opportunities as the in store deals. That doesn’t mean you can’t pick up a few steals while you’re sitting in the comfort of your own home.

– Official Announcements

Target offers official announcements about the kinds of things that they have planned for Black Friday, so keep an eye on their website. They will send out email alerts about the kinds of things they will have on sale, so there are few things better than having the information straight from the retailer.

Black Friday 2013

2013’s Black Friday was one that set records across the board for all kinds of retail stores. Target was among those that found that they had larger crowds than ever and sold a record number of products that reached across ever product category. Most stores saw lines of up to 200 people outside waiting in the Winter cold to get in on some of the best savings that this retailer offers all year long.

In particular, people were after:

-50” Element TVs for $229 (regularly $600)

-Nook 7” Tablets For $79 (saving $50)

-Beats By Dre Headphones For $199 (saving $50)

-XBox 360 Kinect bundles for $189.99 (saving $110)

-Many, many more

After a record setting year, there is no reason to think that 2014 might be another stellar year for them.

The Predictions For Target Black Friday 2014

2014 is set to be a great year for Black Friday. Even though there might not have been any ads leaked for Target yet, there are plenty of predictions as to what we can start to expect on the big day. As with other retailers, there are a few things that stand out as sure deals you can count on.

In particular, there are expected to be plenty of HDTV deals that continue the trend of lowered hi definition prices overall. There are plenty of affordable televisions on the market right now, but Target is expected to have up to 60” HDTVs for less than $500, with some off-brand 4K sets going for as low as $400.

There are likely to be deals on plenty of smartphones as well. The iPhone will be of particular interest to shoppers since the latest model is set to be released soon. This means there will be great savings on previous generations.

As always, video game consoles are also expected to be a big seller. With the release of the PS4 and Xbox One in the past, this would be a great time for them to offer a steep discount on them. In the past, they have offered bundles for the price of standard systems, so this year will be no different.
