Taylor Swift to Release a New Album

Taylor Swift recently appeared on the cover of PEOPLE’s magazine’s 40th Anniversary issue. She is embracing a completely different beat for her upcoming album titled 1989. This will be Swift’s fifth album and it will be released on 27th October.

Swift’s style got her the top spot on magazine’s Best Dressed List. She posed as Mia Farrow‘s Great Gatsby look from PEOPLE‘s issue of 1974. In an interview, Swift said that 1989 is a different album and is unlike her previous albums. Swift is known for her heartbreak records and is trying something new. For her this is not another heartbreak record.

Swift told the magazine, when shooting for this week’s cover story, that she derives her music from her personal experiences. She is happy with how her life is at this point, and is not heartbroken.

Swift admits that when she is hurt by something she writes a song about it. This is her way of letting it out. She added that the last few years had been devastating for her and it was time for a change. This change came from all the free time she had to think about herself. Swift has decided to take her music in a new direction.

Swift’s old music contains live drumming, guitar-heavy stuff, and it was all very acoustic. Her new album has songs that have keyboards, automated drums, pop and vocal layering.

After the release of her first single, people have responded well. Her song was the #1 chart topper with 150 million views. The video is dance themed, and includes multiple imitators. Swift said that the viral lip dub by Kentucky Fraternity was tricky to pull off and deceptive at times.

Swift said, it takes a lot of energy to awkwardly dance around. When shooting for her music video, Swift tackled hip-hop, ballet, ribbon dancing, and contemporary. Her three day shoot was filled with excitement, and she was dancing around the entire time.

Swift is finally embarrassed by her single life and is trying to figure out who she is. This way all her decisions will be taken by her, and this way she will learn and figure out things on her own. She said, she will be happy with or without a life partner.
