There will be a new hot TV Show on HBO this summer. The Leftovers is based on the novel with the same title by Tom Perrotta. The first trailer is intense and gripping at least for those who did not read the book.

Here comes another hot HBO TV Show. The Leftovers is set after a global so called rapture, which could have been the Biblical rapture. The storyline focuses on the people who didn’t make the cut that are left behind. Some fall for cults and there is lots of violence. The The Leftovers stars Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler, and Ann Dowd. The series is directed by Peter Berg.

The Leftovers trailer has already got over 2.2million views on Youtube. The excitement for the show is certainly big.

The Leftovers will premiere on HBO on June 29, 2014.
