The release of the iWatch can be delayed due to the slow production rate caused by the MIM chassis issue

iWatch, the device through which Apple is expected to dominate in the wearable market, is reportedly going to be revealed later than the expected period, as the manufacturers are facing issues constructing the mechanism.

Apple Balla states that due to the issue, caused in MIM chassis, the production rate has been slumped by 50 percent. On the other hand, Qualcomm is also facing the same problem constructing its Toq smart watch.

The sources familiar with the issue said, “Since clients have high demand over quality, and also need high volumes of supply, most component makers are having difficulties satisfying both of requirements.”

The iWatch is expected to be released later this year, which might be equipped with the OLED display. However, the most significant feature of the device is the wireless charging system, for which it has already been able to create a buzz in the technological world.
