What to expect – hiding in the rafters of Charing Cross station, battling atop racing stagecoaches and chasing thieves down dingy cobbled streets.

Ubisoft conducted a survey back in 2011, in which the respondents were the fans of the popular gaming title Assassins Creed, and it was concluded that two locations seemed to have attracted a lot of attention from these fans. Apparently, everyone was excited to see the gaming action take place in either a Victorian England setting or Feudal Japan. And ever since then, each year with the release of a new title, we all have been anxiously waiting to see whether either of these would be included in the virtual background of the most loved gaming title. It seems as if our wait is finally over and we can stop guessing because the moment we had all been waiting for has finally arrived.

Kotaku has claimed that the next year’s installment is going to take the ongoing Assassin-Templar tussle to the streets of London back in the 19th century – the Victorian England we had all been dying to see in the backdrop of this game. This upcoming title has been codenamed as Victory and from what we have heard so far, players are going to hide in the rafters of Charing Cross station, there are going to be battled on top of racing stagecoaches and chasing thieves will be made more fun as you run around the cobbled streets.

Apparently this leak has gotten a go ahead from Ubisoft which has approved this so it is highly probable that we might get to see an official trailer sooner rather than later just like it happened last year with Assassin’s Creed Unity.

Ubisoft has also issued a statement following this leak;

“It is always unfortunate when internal assets, not intended for public consumption, are leaked. And, while we certainly welcome anticipation for all of our upcoming titles, we’re disappointed for our fans, and our development team, that this conceptual asset is now public. The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years, and we’re excited to officially unveil what the studio has been working on at a later date. In the meantime, our number one priority is enhancing the experience of Assassin’s Creed Unity for players.”
