  • Sideshow Bob Is Finally Going To Get His Wish Fulfilled By Killing Bart Simpson.

Sideshow Bob is going to get his wish. He will kill Bart Simpson this fall, but of course temporarily.

After 25 years of frustration, Sideshow Bob will finally get his wish. On the annual Halloween episode of The Simpsons Kelsey Grammer will come back to voice the great villain Sideshow Bob.

Every time Sideshow Bob makes an attempt to kill Bart, his diabolical plan fails at the last moment. He has been trying to kill him for a quarter century now and he never succeeded but this time that’s not the case. Bob will actually kill him.

The producers of The Simpsons revealed this horrific news during their ATX Festival Panel in Austin, Texas, on last Saturday.  Executive producer Al Jean said that he always wanted the villain of every show to kill the hero, just like in the classic Looney Tunes cartoons.

He wanted to see the Coyote get the Road Runner in that show. He also told EW that when he was a kid he wanted the rabbit to get the Trix. He hated that frustration comedy since he was a kid, so they’ll scratch that itch on the Halloween episode, “Treehouse of Horror.”

He explained that everybody will see Bob doing something he always wanted to do. It has not been revealed how they will kill Bart nor have any details about the episode been divulged.

Sideshow Bob swore revenge against Bart since a 1990 episode. He plotted to frame Krusty the Clown for robbery and this was exposed by Bart, since then he has been trying to kill poor Bart. According to the current plot of the story he will finally succeed in doing so.

The producer explained that Bob will finally execute Bart but then he would not be able to figure that what to do with himself. He will be confused after achieving his goal of killing the poor boy Bart.

Jean took to twitter to clarify that Bart will die for only one episode and he will come back for the rest. A fan asked him that is Bart going to come back after the Halloween episode and he said that obviously he’s not nuts. They would not kill the character permanently. He will be back on the show after the traditional format-shattering Halloween move.

“So I said, ‘Look buddy, your car was upside-down when I got here.'” – HomerPosted by The Simpsons on Saturday, June 6, 2015

The air date of this episode has not yet announced but the “Treehouse of Horror” is usually broadcast in late October or early November. The Simpsons was recently renewed for two more seasons.

Also last month, Harry Shearer announced that he would not be returning to the show. Jean said they were still hoping to make a deal with Harry and they hoped he might change his mind. He voices a number of characters, including Mr. Burns and Ned Flanders. However there was no update about him.

The producers also announced that a much loved character from The Simpsons Movie will return in the upcoming 27th season. Homer’s beloved Spider-Pig will be back.
