TurboTax Super Bowl 2015 Ad

A TurboTax Super Bowl ad will be again part of the Super Bowl Ad line-up.

TurboTax is back in the Super Bowl 2015 Ad line-up. The Intuit owned tax software has debuted with a 60 second Super Bowl commercial last year and it seems it has worked as TurboTax is back again this year.

The Super Bowl has ideal timing for TurboTax as it falls into tax season. The TurboTax Superbowl commercial will show that although life is complex, doing taxes with TurboTax doesn’t have to be. That’s because TurboTax asks simple questions and guides people step by step through all the amazing and sometimes crazy changes that happen during their year.  

“No one knows your year better than you. And that makes you the best person to do your taxes,” said Greg Johnson, vice president of marketing for Intuit TurboTax. “Our new campaign shows that you don’t have to be an expert to do your own taxes because TurboTax asks simple questions about your life. We believe the time has come for millions of hardworking Americans to accomplish more than they thought possible and be rewarded with every dollar they deserve.”

The TurboTax advertising campaign comes off a strong year, where TurboTax Online units grew 14% year over year, as the do-it-yourself tax category grew 6% over the prior year, making tax software the fastest- growing tax preparation choice for U.S. taxpayers. 

TurboTax is likely again not pre-releasing their Super Bowl commercial ahead of the Big Game. AWilliam H. Macy is the voice on the TurboTax Mardie Gras ad. If the actor will also do the voice-over in the TurboTax Super Bowl 2015 ad is not known. Macy is best known for his role in Fargo and on in the Showtime show Shameless.
