Tylt Wireless Charging Accessories for Samsung Galaxy S6 Unveiled

Tylt announced three Qi wireless chargers today for use with the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

TYLT today announced three Qi wireless chargers designed for use with the new Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. The line-up includes the VU Wireless Charging Car Mount, a hands-free car mount that doubles as a wireless charger, the VU SOLO, a compact wireless charging pad and the VU Wireless Charger, which holds the Galaxy S6 at a 45-degree angle while it charges. 

One of the features that make the Galaxy S6 better than the iPhone 6 is the integrated wireless charging technology. Samsung is though not putting a wireless charging pad inside the box. The good news is that the Galaxy S6 supports any wireless charging pad available in the market. 

Apple will need to introduce wireless charging in the iPhone 6S. The company will offer the wireless charging technology in the upcoming Apple Watch. 

The VU Wireless Charging Car Mount and VU Wireless Charger both feature three Qi charging coils, enabling them to charge the Galaxy S6 no matter where it’s positioned on the charging pad. 

The race to sell wireless charging pads to Galaxy S6 customers has already begun before the new Samsung Smartphones go on sale on April 10. Powermat has also already begun to talk up the Samsung partnership.
