Victoria Beckham Visits Her New Store in London

Victoria Beckham made her first trip to her Dover Street Store in London’s Mayfair on Saturday, two days after the formal launch of her boutique. The 40 year old fashion designer has decided to show the world that she is not a fair weather business woman especially when it comes to her boutique.

David Beckham made an appearance at the grand opening of Victoria’s store as she was busy with the U.N organization in New York. Even though she had caught a flight back from NY less than 24 hours before, she still was an image of perfection. Her store has been in business for five days, yet she finds it hard to stay away from it. She has visited the boutique twice in the last five days.  

On her first visit to the store, she wore a simple black jumper with an animal print pencil skirt, which she matched with a very fine pair of black stilettos. She was also carrying a black envy-inducing handbag with a solid gold chain handle, looking every inch the boss she is. And to top it all she wore a pair of dark sunglasses. Once she came back from her first visit to her store, she tweeted, “So excited to visit my store today! Thank u to my wonderful team and customers I met today”.

On her second visit to the store, the mother of three wore a full black skirt and a plain white shirt to give a professional look.  Victoria’s family has been very supportive throughout. Her husband was not the only one who made a welcome appearance. Her 15 years old son ‘Brooklyn’ also visited the store. He was proud of his mother and followed her fashionable footsteps, as he was wearing designer sunglasses and patterned trainers. 

Victoria’s luxury boutique has embraced simplicity. It does not have rails, cash registers and display windows. Talking to MailOnline before the launch of her boutique Victoria said, “I wanted people to see the brand through my eyes. I didn’t want the orthodox shop windows. All I wanted was solid sliding doors with plain windows.”
