Anna Gunn Becomes a Cop in Gracepoint

The legendary actress Anna Gunn will now be posing as a police officer in the Gracepoint. The star was recently spotted in Los Angeles cruising in a police car in the company of a cop. She really looked like a cop as she stopped the car to interrogate a few residents in the town.

Global Newsreported that Anna was actually preparing for her role as a cop in the B.C series, Gracepoint. The series will premier on Thursday on Global. In the series, Anna is a cop who is based within a small town. Her duty is to unearth the truth behind the killing of a young boy by collecting information from the residents. That is exactly why she had to interrogate some people in the small town.

The residents were probably not jittery because they are familiar with her due to her role in Breaking Bad where she was featured as the wife of a dangerous drug lord. During the filming session, it was actually the male officer who stopped the residents while Anna stood in front of him. The star said she feared bumping into her Breaking Bad fans.

Her role seems to have been reversed because in Breaking Bad, she was constantly defending her criminal husband. Gracepoint is quite similar to Broadchurch because in both settings, there are cops investigating the killing of a young boy within two small towns. The series has up to 10 episodes and its ending is not similar to that of Broadchurch.

Though the scenes in Broadchurch and Gracepoint are somehow similar, the cast members are not the same except David Tennant. Tennant was actually nervous when he was told he would be working alongside Gunn.
