Jadeveon Clowney Believes He Will Be at Steelers’ Match
Jadeveon Clowney has said he believes he will be at Steeler’s game on Monday. The game is actually too big such that it will be aired live on TV. Clowney ranks first in the NFL selections. The footballer is currently recovering from a knee injury. Though the player is looking to get back into the field, the final decision rests with doctors that were assigned to him. This is because he can not go against the advice of medical experts.
According to Chron, Clowney said that he would appreciate if he was given a chance to hit the field again. The star stated that it’s been long since he bumped someone. The outside linebacker argued that he is eagerly waiting for such a moment to come.
Clowney got a knee injury while chasing a passer during the opening match at Washington. The player has since been operated because the injury was quite severe due to the fact that a meniscus of his knee was in pieces. Clowney said that he feels irritated when his teammates are beaten by a small team and he just have to oversee it till the end without contributing in any way.
The player believes his knee has fully recovered and has attributed his speedy healing to his coach and trainers. He further added that he has lately started making runs and the trainers feel that he is getting better.
The star has not been idle during his long break. Clowney said he was in deed busy studying various mind games by observing various teams play. In the mean time Clowney has learnt a lot concerning his game especially the transition from college defensive to outside linebacker.
The Texans had settled for Clowney because he had been ranked as the best player on their board. The team was solely relying on J.J. Watt to make pass rushes and so they had overwhelmed him. This implies that he was brought in to assist Watt.
As a matter of fact, Clowney’s injury has not affected Watt’s performance. The player has managed to remain at the top of his game thanks to his 3 touchdowns, 4 sacks, 20 quarterback hits and 7 tackles. Clowney acknowledged Watt’s performance by pointing out that he is a very dedicated player and he was eagerly waiting for the time he will return and give him a hand.
