MakerBot Unleashes PrintShop iOS App for 3D Designing

The MakerBot PrintShop app is finally here. The free iOS-only tool has officially been announced by MakerBot and is the perfect option for those who want some assistance in the area of 3D printing and designing. The app is obviously for use along with the company’s expensive 3D printer and will turn you into a complete virtual designer.

The app is perfectly designed for those newcomers who have just started to explore the world of 3D printing and it will assist them with 3D designs by giving them three separate tools to pick from when thinking of new things to create. The usual 3D designing is difficult for the laymen to understand and the idea behind this app is to make things easier by providing a user friendly interface which helps with original work. And if that is not your thing then you can also have the option of selecting from a pre-built library of 3D objects that they can modify and save down to their own “Thingiverse Library.”
