Michael Phelps apologizes for DUI Arrest

Michael Phelps got arrest in Baltimore for driving under the influence. TMZ reported that Michael Phelps got pulled over at 1:40am as he was driving 84mph instead of the allowed 45mph. Officers then found him under the influence and they brought him to the next police station where he was booked. Michael Phelps already has a DUI arrest from 10 years ago.

Michael Phelps took now to Twitter to issue an apology. The message expands over three tweets. Read below.

(1/3) Earlier this morning, I was arrested and charged with DUI, excessive speeding and crossing double lane lines.

The Olympic record medal winner is actually back in training and is competing. Most recently he participated in 2014 Pan Pacific Championships last month.
