Nicolas Cage Feels Like An Outsider

Let’s face it; Nicolas Cage has done so many movies. Some of them were American masterpieces whereas some of them didn’t do too good. People started picking on the actor and everyone started saying that Nicolas Cage is in every movie. 

Well, he’s not in every movie but then again he has done so many movies that people started making fun of him. The main reason people started making fun of him was due to the reason that he has featured in a lot of flop movies. 

Even now the actor seems like strange character and his mysterious life looks like a book of secrets. But don’t get us wrong as the actor has won an Oscar. Leonardo DiCaprio must be kicking himself. 

Leonardo must be thinking of doing a lot of movies because let’s face it the universe is against him and his only chances of winning an Oscar is to feature in every big movie. 

But even though Nicolas Cage won an Oscar, we still can’t think why he featured in the flop movie “Ghost Rider”. He gave an interview to the British Times Magazine (via Us Weekly) and he started talking about himself and his life. 

He also talked about the critics and the people that made fun of him. He said that he was proud of the chances that he had taken. He conceded that “they haven’t all worked out”. 

He told the magazine reporter that he always believed in the project he was working on. He knew that his work had annoyed a lot of critics and people but then again, he was proud of it all. 

“Sometimes I feel like an outsider,” he admitted. “When you’re endowed with an original way of thinking, or with a highly active imagination, you can become quickly ostracized. You can feel isolated and misunderstood.”

“I care about what people think of me,” he continued. “Some of the snarky comments people make can get under my skin. I can be a bit of a broken record at home when I read the things that are said about me. But I have to just stop belaboring these things and let it go, rather than complaining to my wife all the time.”

He went on and said that the movies create an effect on the people and sometimes they show love towards you and the other times they aren’t that forgiving. 

He said that people shouldn’t just sit there and should do something in their life and this exactly what he has done and he is happy with all of his work.
