The team was broke and looked like it was going to vanish from the face of the earth when Russell Crowe and Peter Holmes paid for the combined 75 percent stake in the team.

Russell Crowe had a divorce two years ago and he had to sell his 37.5 percent share in order to make his life simple. The Rabbitohs chief executive Danielle Spencer said that Crowe never talks about walking away from the club.

He also said that Russell Crowe is very passionate about the club and that he has poured a lot of emotions into the team. Danielle said Russell Crowe is going through a tough phase but it doesn’t mean that he is going to quit the club.

Spencer said that he was going to be the first person Russell is going to come to if he ever thinks of quitting the club. He always loved the club and now that he has a stake in it, he might never sell it. He just doesn’t wants to do all the lifting at the club.

Danielle also said that Russell is always busy these days with his acting and directing. He is directing his first film called the “The Water Diviner”. Whenever his team lost a match, it would really get him upset, but now he knows how to deal with the losses.

Meanwhile, Matt Bomer is going to join “Nice Guys” with Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling. Russell Crowe will be playing with Matt Bomer and Gosling in the upcoming action drama.

Nice Guys is set in the 1970s LA and Crowe is playing a gangster in the film. Crowe will hire Gosling, who is a detective to find a missing girl and Gosling uncovers a dangerous conspiracy where Matt’s character comes in.
