White House evacuated after Breach of Security by Man

The White encountered a breach of security and had to be evacuated after a man traversed the fence and almost succeeded in reaching the front doors of the residence of the President.

A loner had the guts to jump over the fence surrounding the White House lawns and nearly make his way to the front doorway before he was caught and immobilized by security personnel. 

It was a close call since President Obama had left the premises a couple of minutes earlier. This incident will not go amiss since it shows mismanagement and lack of seriousness in the higher echelons of the security services. 

Furthermore, it was not certain whether the culprit had attempted similar acts before or not. If he turns out to be a regular Parkour prankster, this situation will call for greater accountability among those who have been hired to protect the President from harm’s way. 

The intruder climbed the fence easily and headed straight for the doors and the strange thing was that he ignored signals by security personnel who warned him to desist from proceeding any further.

By the time he was stopped dead in his tracks, the mischief maker had progressed well beyond any imaginary transgression. He had nearly made it inside the White House. 

“He appeared to responding officers to be unarmed, and that turned out to be true. He ignored officers’ calls for him to stop and ran towards the White House,” Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary told CNN.

To actually think what would have happened if he had a weapon in his hand and the President was a few minutes late. The very scenario is nightmarish to contemplate for the President’s bodyguards. 

The man was taken into custody and he was found to be unarmed. He was later on taken to a hospital nearby due to the symptoms of chest pain that he exhibited. His name is O/3/J. Gonzalez. He is a 42-year-old guy from Copperas Cove, Texas.

Gonzalez and his family or friends have not been contacted yet. The prosecution procedures will be given due process of law. Later on a whole scale evacuation and spring cleaning of the White House took place due to this extraordinary and rare incidence. 

There have been many such incidents before but the rascals that attempted to run roughshod along the White House grounds never made it beyond a yard few feet. This case is special since it exposes the poor security that exists at present. 

A thorough investigation will take place and the chinks in the protective armor of personnel will be filled by those who can do the job in a better and more suitable way. 

“This situation was a little different than other incidents we have at the White House,” another Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan told NYP. “There will be a thorough investigation into the incident.”
