iPhone 6 Sales In China Come From Black Market

The iPhone 6 was one of the most anxiously awaited products that Apple has ever released, although those in China are going to have to wait even longer to get their hands on the latest in Apple’s mobile phone technology. That wait has people paying incredibly large amounts of money for the phone when they don’t want to wait for the official announcement that could be months or years away.

For example, an iPhone reseller that talked to Bloomberg reported that he was offering 16 gb iPhone two days after the release for the price of $1,300. All customers have to do is find him outside of a Beijing Apple store. There were other sellers in the area that were offering similar deals, although they were charging as much as $2,440 for one. People in the country see it as an investment, They purchase new iPhones knowing that they will be able to resell them for a 50 to 150 percent markup almost without failure.

It still isn’t known just when the iPhone 6 is going to go on sale in China. They are awaiting on the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to issue a special license to Apple that will allow them to do so. So far, the only word from Apple is that they are hoping that they will be able to get the smartphones into the hands of their customers in the country as fast as possible.

While there is no telling when it will officially go on sale, it seems as though there is no shortage of iPhone 6 business in the country.
