Daniel Bryan Injury Serious Enough to Prompt Brie Bella to Quit ‘Total Divas’
WWE Total Divas; Brie Bella quits after Daniel Bryan Injury
Daniel Bryan’s injury had quite an impact on WWE Total Divas and it is being said that Brie Bella had to quit because of him. On Sunday’s episode, Brie clearly revealed “Bryan and I realized his injury was more complex and that he needed more time to heal. But the best part about it is I quit on television as a storyline, just so I could stay home and help Bryan through this really hard time.” And not just the Total Divas but Bella has also quitted from WWE.
According to E! News, which is the broadcaster of the show, the decision was in Bryan’s hands after he was given two different options following his neck surgery; “give up his Championship title or his wife will be fired!” so ultimately Brie decided to quit from WWE Total Divas and this didn’t happen so peacefully since there was a little scene in between Brie and boss Stephanie McMahon, which was most likely staged so Brie could quit. According to E! Brie will reveal her plans for life after leaving the league in the episode.
Bryan’s recovery period following the journey has been quite tough on him. The rumors that circulated around this topic indicated that he agreed to have the surgery only after he was told that he would end up in a similar position as of Brock Lesnar’s if he didn’t get the needed. Also he felt he needed the surgery because his body couldn’t handle the fights. There are also some whispers which suggest that Bryan will not be needing to go through another surgery and we will see him back in Royal Rumble, which is scheduled for January 2915, but nothing of this sort has been confirmed.
There are different opinions from fans and analysts regarding Bryan’s return. According to Cageside Seats, “Daniel Bryan’s fairytale story ended shortly after Wrestlemania 30. Injuries robbed him of a lengthy run with the WWE Championship that he worked so hard to attain and threaten his very career. Can he ever reach those heights again? Will he return as a shell of himself, if at all? Or will be train harder than ever, heal his wounds, enhance his repertoire both in the ring and on the microphone to become an all-time great of the sport? Time will tell.” Roman Reigns is also among the latest injuries and he continued “Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns are out of action. This is a fact that cannot be altered. How will these men react to the challenge placed before them? And who will step in to fill the void? Who will use this obstacle to their advantage?”
