Billy Joel shared the reason behind never releasing another album.
Billy Joel is one of the most famous singers in the United States. He lives in New York and has a huge fan following. His residency is surrounded by his fans most of the time. His biggest fans are hoping that their favorite musician will be releasing another album soon.
Billy Joel’s last albums were released in 1993. After that he decided not to release any other album. He said that he did not have any plans to release a new album. He said that he knew that he was famous and his fans wanted another album. He shared the fact that he knew that any other album of his will be an instant hit as he was pretty famous.
He believed that he would be able to make a lot of money from any album that got released. However he shared the fact that he did not want to produce any other album.
Billy Joel also said that people thought that he was not interested in releasing a new album because he was lazy but that was not the case. He said that he wanted his music to be perfect but he simply did not want another album.
He also shared that he had seen many artists who had released various albums each year. After some time the albums released by many artists got worse and eventually they failed. He said that he did not want this to happen with him as there is a time in one’s life when a person should “just stop”.
He further explained that he did not want to record a new album and songs in a studio. He said that he had been a passionate person in the past and was eager to do more. Now he did not want any of this nor did he want to put any effort in it.
Billy Joel said that he did not feel like recording any more so he was not going to do it ever again. He also said that he did not want to write any more songs as they might have a negative effect his personal life.
