Mariah Carey in the midst of Marital Turmoil

It’s been more than half a decade since Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have been married together. But now she has had enough and can’t wait for a split. And while the divorce has begun in its preliminary phases, Mariah is turning to her music as a consolation of sorts.

Mariah Carey is well into her mid 40s. She is a mature musical artist and she knows how to handle her creative muse. She recently shared two photos of her rehearsals for The Elusive Chanteuse Show on Instagram. 

She could be seen in the photos wearing a sleeveless dress and looking very happy as she rehearses for the show. Mariah also wore stilettoes and dark glasses and looked to be in tiptop condition despite the stress of her divorce. 

Five of her pets (Jack Russell Terriers) were alongside her and joined in the chorus. Mariah’s tour will take her throughout Asia. The Elusive Chanteuse Show is all set to start on October 4 in Tokyo. 

“I want to experience the spontaneity and emotion that I put into this album on stage with my fans,” Carey said. “I can’t stop writing songs so don’t be surprised if you hear a brand new song that I just wrote the night before the show in your city!”

Mariah Carey is doing this tour to support her latest album, “Me. I Am Mariah … The Elusive Chanteuse,” which was released on /4/27. 58,000 units of this album were sold till now and it is debuted at No. 3.

Meanwhile, her husband Nick is still in a state of denial. He has tweeted several times that he doesn’t even know what the big fuss is all about.

The fact, that the two had been living apart since the last couple of months, seems  to have been lost on this man. Yet even Nick now acknowledges that they have had a difficult time together.

Nick has said that he kept quiet for a long time regarding the rumors about his and Mariah’s marriage being on the rocks but now he won’t keep quiet about it.

Mariah on the other hand is really going deep into her creative depths and coming out with some very beautiful songs. It’s common knowledge that most artists bring out the pain from the hidden recesses of their souls and make the best cultural products of creativity and innovation from this distilled agony. 

We hope Mariah not only sublimates her misery this way but gets back in touch with her hubby and that the two manage to stick it out together.
