Just as we were all wondering why the leaks had left out the headset of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 smartphone, we were given the biggest surprise of our lives; the pictures and details of the earbuds have been making rounds on the internet and they look strikingly similar to something we have already seen just like many other things on the S6. While many are claiming the S6 to simply be a ripoff of the iPhone 6 but we think we should be giving Samsung a little benefit of the doubt.

Comparing the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy S6 side by side, one could be the better judge of the situation keeping in mind that everything about the S6 is still a rumor. But as far as the leaks are concerned, there is tons of evidence to suggest that the S6 has been inspired a lot by the iPhone 6. And the revealed images of the earbuds are just another block on the building.

The Vietnamese forum Tinhte.vn has leaked the images of the earbuds which are expected to accompany the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. And just when you set eyes on the pictures you are instantly thinking that you have seen these somewhere before. They have a straight resemblance to Appleā€™s Earpods.

These earbuds have dropped out the more traditional deep in-ear design which is contemporary to most of the Samsung flagships and instead the new earbuds have opted for a design similar to the earbuds which Apple shipped along with its iPhone 5. The flat tangle-free cord is yet another main feature which has been adopted from the Apple earpods. The earbuds come with a remote which features the mic and the three-button setup with a volume rocker and pause/pickup/hangup button which again is a striking similarity.
