The Simpsons 26th Season Premiere was Over-Hyped

The big question of who died in The Simpsons has been answered. Krusty’s Dad, Rabbi Krustovski, has died spinning Krusty the clown into a depression. The episode is titled Clown in the Dumps. “Episode in the Dumps” would have been also a good title. The hype around who will die was just too much for killing off a side character like Rabbi Krustovski.

The whole Krusty depression and jewish heaven dream sequence was also not that entertaining. Good thing that the Simpson and Family Guy cross-over show was really funny to let us forget the season premiere of the 26th Simpsons season.

Simpsons fans took to Twitter to voice their disappointment. It’s interesting that most fans already felt that they will get disappointed with this over-hyped premiere. Besides, this is not the first death of a Simpsons character. Dead Simpsons characters include Maude Flanders, Mona Simpson, Bleeding Gums Murphy, Amber Simpson and Fat Tony.

The Simpsons is the longest running scripted series in TV history. On January 14, 2015 FOX will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series premiere on FOX.
