Shia LaBeouf describes his Experience as a Jailbird

It was the cooler which did it for Shia LaBeouf. The actor has spent quite a rollercoaster ride of a year. He was taken into police custody in June for causing a big commotion at a film premiere.

He recently appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show and spoke his mind about the dog days he spent in the locker. When Ellen asked him what exactly happened…he replied in a humorous vein that he had suffered from an existential crisis of sorts. 

The bitter experience had left him feeling disoriented and he had taken a ride on the wild side. His behavior went awry and he made many wrong judgments that caused him to act just plain weird. 

LaBeouf had gone to the premiere of Nymphomaniac with a brown paper bag covering his head. And the words “I am not famous anymore!” were written on it. 

Later on Shia made up for the wrong he had done by allowing people to say whatever they wanted to him right to his face. Then there was the other encounter where Shia acted all ballistic at the performance of Cabaret.

This of course was Michelle Williams’ and Alan Cumming’s Broadway show. Shia was a dipsomaniac at the time when his antics went sort of haywire. He and the bottle were friends alright. 

LaBeouf described jail time as a very horrific experience. He was locked up in a padded cell for many hours while a straitjacket along with a restraining mask were put on his body and face. 

The very situation reeked of extreme bondage and Shia was scared witless. Finally, it was Shia’s mom who came to his rescue. She told her only son to stop screwing up his life. He had to pull himself together. 

Shia was a favorite child of his mom and dad and so he had issues having to do with narcissism. But after listening to his mom, Shia made it through and now he is leading a normal and happy life.
