Alexandra Breckenridge joins The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead returned last week with a phenomenal premiere episode of season 5. The crew decided to go to Washington D.C. and we can expect a change of scenery and new characters to be introduced. The producers are assuring that there would be a lot of different sceneries including urban locations, rural areas and the suburbs.

The production has signed on new actors and actresses to the existing line-up. One of those actors is Alexandra Breckenridge. The American Horror Story star has been cast to play the role of ‘Samantha.’ 

Samantha’s character is going to be a strong, smart, attractive, articulate woman with a vulnerable side. She’s going to a Bohemian minded mother with artistic skills and that is all the paparazzi was able to coerce out of the casting crew.

Samantha’s role in the post-apocalyptic zombie ridden world is being kept under wraps but there is an indication that she might be signed on as a regular for the next season as well. 

Alexandra will be joined by Tyler James Williams in the mysterious role of Noah, Lennie James Morgan who made an appearance at the end of the premiere and Seth Gilliam who would be playing the role of Father Gabriel this Sunday. 

Kate Burton is also rumored to be joining the cast for the role of Donna, a formidable journalist with wise-ass humor. Donna is going to be a character that can judge people really well and is a brave mother and leader. 

Alexandra is expected to be a series regular along with 17 current regulars-the highest number in the show’s history.
